From Airport to Airport to Airport...

Today was travel day!
But now I'm exhausted. Everyone remembers the best moments of their life, whether its a dance or a money exchanging experience. Well today I had my best international flight, ever. I had an aisle seat, in the back of the plane, with no one else in my row. I got to lay down, which hurt, so I just spread my stuff all over and made myself comfortable on top of it and made all the other passengers/crew jealous. The only problem was, once again I slept through dinner and I was starving and counting the hours till breakfast. And when it finally came, I was greatly disappointed by the 3 grapes, and 2 pieces of mango.

Heathrow was fine, nothing too exciting happened there. Just a lot of people from everywhere which was at times fun to watch, until they noticed me staring : / One thing that I now know, is that I regret not bringing my nice brown sneakers. My bright yellow running shoes really make me stick out in a group of Europeans. Also forgetting that the EU is actually not a single country is probably not helping as well.

So once again going to Düsseldorf no one was in my row. Which was good because I was either asleep or gawking at the snow below. I knew there was going to be snow, but it didn't hit me until I saw it and later felt it. Well after I landed, I decided to go exploring on my own. After finding where to go, I checked in my luggage to be watched as I jumped on the "S11" line to downtown. I just walked onto this thing, didn't have a ticket. I still don't know if that was right or not. I even transfered to other lines and went through stations. And still never needed a ticket. I finally got to officially test my snow boots in snow. And I can now say that they work and keep my feet warm. But I decided not to wear my gloves so I could take pictures instead. Bad idea. Because my hands don't work below 0 degrees C, my pictures aren't that great. Well above is a little bit of where I went while waiting for Toby to arrive.

I think it's time for dinner in the airport. I thinking sauerkraut, sausages and pretzels. yuuummmmmm
